The first anniversary of “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” program

A year has passed since the start of the presidential program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%”. According to the Ministry of Finance, the authorized banks issued 8 430 loans worth UAH 19.7 billion, as of 1 February 2021.

UKRGASBANK has been among top three state-owned banks participating in the program. The Bank has granted 1 067 loans for over UAH 1.5 billion. Of these, more than UAH 1 billion were channeled for investment purposes. UKRGASBANK is also an absolute leader among all participants of the program in providing investment loans.

For reference: UKRGASBANK signed an agreement with the Business Development Fund on providing soft loans for Ukrainian SMEs in January 2020. The program features a reduction of loan interest rates to 5, 7 and 9 % per annum in the local currency depending on the business size and type, as well as a partial loan guarantee for micro-and small businesses.
