The EBRD names UKRGASBANK the best trade finance bank in Ukraine

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) recognized the most successful partner banks from around the world under the Trade Facilitation Program (TFP) in 2021.

For the second year in a row, the EBRD awarded the state-owned UKRGASBANK as the Most Active Issuing Bank in Ukraine under the Trade Facilitation Program.  The Bank was awarded during the EBRD’s 2022 Annual Meeting that took place in Marrakech (Morocco).

The TFP plays a vital role in supporting trade in the EBRD regions of operation. This support is especially needed in these difficult times to address the urgent needs resulting from the war in Ukraine.

For reference: the trade finance portfolio of UKRGASBANK for 2021 totaled UAH 21.5 billion.
