Ukrgasbank becomes а member of United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative

Ukrgasbank joins the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI).

The Finance Initiative is a partnership between UNEP and the global financial sector to mobilize private sector finance for sustainable development. UNEP FI works with more than 290 members – banks, insurers, and investors – and over 100 supporting institutions – to help create a financial sector that serves people and planet while delivering positive impacts. It supports global finance sector principles to catalyze integration of sustainability into financial market practice.

“We would like to join our efforts with other financial institutions that care about improving people’s quality of life without compromising that of future generations. This resonates very much with Ukrgasbank strategy of becoming the Ukraine’s #1 green bank in Ukraine,” said Kyrylo Shevchenko, Ukrgasbank Chairman of the Management Board.
