UGB (Ukrgasbank) issued its 50th letter of credit in 2024

Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrgasbank has issued 50 letters of credit totalling USD 100 million. The average amount of one issued letter of credit is USD 2 million, which indicates that the bank supports not only large corporate customers but also deals with medium-sized enterprises.

The 50th documentary letter of credit was issued for the import of metal from Turkey by order of the Ukrainian manufacturer. The letter of credit is confirmed by the European partner banks.

The bank also expresses gratitude to the international partners—the EBRD and IFC—for their continuous support in facilitating trade finance transactions.
