UAH 166 Million Support For SME Customers

UKRGASBANK and the Export Credit Agency (ECA) provided SME customers with export support for UAH 166 million. 

After four months of cooperation with the ECA, the state-owned UKRGASBANK became the leader under the state program for portfolio insurance of loans for exporters.

So far, we have issued 15 unsecured loans for almost UAH 73 million and supported export transactions for more than UAH 166 million.

We understand that Ukrainian exporters are critically short of financing during the war and the restoration of national business secures Ukraine’s economic resilience and ability to withstand the Russian aggression. For this reason, we are fruitfully cooperating with the ECA to make loans more affordable for local exporters.

For reference: under the state program for the portfolio insurance of loans the ECA insures international contracts risks  in the amount of 85% of the contract value, which serves as collateral for a loan, or guarantees the deferral granted by the exporter to its foreign counterparty. The combination of this program with "Affordable loans 5-7-9%" program will allow attracting lending at soft interest rates.
