Ukrgasbank has made trade finance transactions with the first-class Western European banks

Ukrgasbank has made trade finance transactions with the first-class Western European banks to ensure the supply of imported gas to Ukraine.

Two first-class Western European banks provided their payment guarantees in favor of the European gas supplier to Ukraine.

They assumed Ukrgasbank's direct risk without the participation of international financial institutions. This confirms the high degree of reliability of Ukrgasbank and its efficient development in the field of trade finance.

"Diversification of gas supplies to Ukraine is an important element of the state energy independence strategy. That is why Ukrgasbank provides appropriate support to its customers for energy supply transactions both in Ukraine and abroad", said Gennadiy Helemskyi, Director of Structured Trade Finance Department.
