The first trade finance transactions with Mashreq bank (UAE)

UKRGASBANK has started cooperating with Mashreq bank, one of the leaders of the UAE banking sector, and has already made the first structured trade finance deals.

The amount of transactions totals about USD 35 million with the tenor of up to 60 days. It allows Ukraine to import oil products, process them and export the finished products.

The deal was supported by International Finance Corporation with Mashreq bank acting as a confirming bank.

Mashreq bank is the largest private bank in the UAE, with branches in London, Hong Kong, and New York. The bank sees significant prospects in the Ukrainian market, and UKRGASBANK, in turn, hopes for fruitful cooperation.
