UKRGASBANK is Ukraine’s systemically important bank

The National Bank of Ukraine carried out an annual review of systemically important banks. State-owned UKRGASBANK has once again entered this list.

Systemically important banks concentrate significant amounts of capital, assets, and liabilities and are usually characterized by a significant volume and complexity of transactions. Therefore, they are subject to increased requirements to ensure their stability and reliability.

According to the NBU data, as of January 1, 2023, UKRGASBANK was among the five largest Ukrainian banks by the amount of funds due to customers.
