The official statement on the information about putting the former Chairman of the Management Board Kyrylo Shevchenko and two employees of UKRGASBANK on the wanted list

With reference to the information about putting Kyrylo Shevchenko, former Chairman of the Management Board of UKRGASBANK, along with two current employees - Denys Chernyshov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, and Olena Khmelenko, deputy head of the VIP Corporate Customers Department, on the wanted list on the alleged illegal activities in 2014-2019, we inform that this situation does not in any way affect the current operations of the Bank. 

It was resolved to suspend all the bank officials notified of the suspicion effective from 10 October 2022. Their whereabouts are currently unknown to the Bank employees.

The incumbent Chairman of the Management Board and other members of the Management Board of UKRGASBANK are at their workplaces and are fulfilling their duties. The Bank operates as usual, and services customers in full and on a timely manner.

UKRGASBANK adheres to the principles of zero tolerance towards any manifestations of corruption, has always been and remains open in its interaction with state authorities. Therefore, if requested, the Bank will provide the relevant investigative bodies with comprehensive assistance in carrying out the necessary procedural actions.
