Teimour Bagirov has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UKRGASBANK
Teimour Bagirov has been appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UKRGASBANK following Shrenik Davda’s request to stand down as Chairman due to his other work commitments. Such resolution was taken at the Bank's annual general shareholders meeting.
Shrenik Davda stated that "it has been a privilege to serve as Chair and I would like to thank my Management colleagues, the Ministry of Finance and the NBU for their support and trust. I look forward to serving on the Supervisory Board as an independent member. In Teimour Bagirov, UKRGASBANK has an individual who is uniquely qualified to lead the bank in the next phase of its privatization journey. Teimour has served on the Supervisory Board since 2015, including being the Deputy Chair in the challenging early years of the bank's turnaround and subsequently as Chair or member of the Bank's key Board Committees. I look forward to supporting him in his new role."
Teimour Bagirov joined the Supervisory Board of UKRGASBANK in 2015, when the Bank initiated the reform of the corporate governance system, which allowed it to focus on the core business development and strengthen its market position.

In my new capacity as a Chairman, I will do my utmost to help the team build a strong and modern banking institution, well perceived by clients and international investors", Teimour Bagirov said.
