More support for business - EBRD trade finance limit increased by USD 90 million

UKRGASBANK efforts to support international business of its clients brought new results. For the second time in less than a year of cooperation with the EBRD under the Trade Facilitation Program (TFP), we managed to increase the trade finance limit. This time, it has more than doubled and now totals USD 170 million.

TFP aims at providing better access to finance for export-oriented companies, stimulating the country’s economic development and creating new jobs. Increasing the trade finance limit allows UKRGASBANK to strengthen the support and financing of foreign economic projects, including those of SME customers that have been most affected by COVID-19.

Through the TFP, the EBRD provides partial or full guarantees for individual trade transactions and covers payment risk of issuing banks in various countries.
